3 INCHES OF BLOOD PREPARE TO RELEASE €œHERE WAITS THY DOOM€ ON SEPTEMBER 8TH
BAND CURRENTLY SHOOTING VIDEO FOR €œBATTLES AND BROTHERHOOD€ SINGLE

Born out of a love for pure metal, weaned on a diet of fantasy and mythology, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD have been slaying the infidel for nearly a decade. In that time, they've released three albums and splattered the ground with crimson streaks while on tour with such acclaimed acts as Satyricon, The Black Dahlia Murder, Motorhead and Cradle of Filth, just to name a few. These are mighty accomplishments for dedicated warriors from Vancouver, British Columbia, a region that's not exactly the Camelot of heavy metal. With their last album, Fire Up the Blades, they have surpassed even their own manly exploits, crafting a number of undeniable anthems that crash, rip and roar like a Medieval skirmish.

The world is eagerly awaiting the triumphant return of one of the biggest defenders of traditional heavy metal, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, and after one listen to the new album€™s vicious lead-off cut, €œBattles and Brotherhood,€ it is very evident that the band has crafted the definitive offering of their already much heralded career. Head over now to www.myspace.com/3iob to stream the new track. The group is in the process of shooting a video for this song in the coming weeks that will be produced and directed by the acclaimed Rick Podd, who has worked on such movies as The Watcher & Hellraiser. Photos of the shoot have been posted online at www.myspace.com/3iob, so head over now to check out the intense battle scenes for yourself.

3 INCHES OF BLOOD will be performing a very special headlining, one-off CD release show at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Sept. 9th, so if you are in the Southern California area, you don€™t want to miss out on this one. Also, look for the band touring throughout North America all this fall with In Flames, Between The Buried and Me and The Faceless. Either see below or visit www.myspace.com/3iob to view their complete itinerary. Here Waits Thy Doom will set the new standard for heavy metal, so be sure to mark your calendars as this monumental offering is set for a Sept. 8th release.

I.C.S. Vortex Dimmu Borgir Statement

I've really enjoyed the ride, the Dimmu years have been awesome.
I look forward to concentrating fully on my own project now, and
the opening possibility to resurrect a band or three.

A special thanks to all the crazy and lovely people I have met on
the road with Dimmu over the years, for the support from so many of
you, and for the continuing interest in my musical projects.

I will always treasure the albums and the brotherhood as it was
before the cabin-fever,music industry and greed went Metallica on
our asses.

My support goes to Mustis, the true creative force in Dimmu for the
last ten years, and his rightful legal chase.
