After returning from several festivals including Battlefield Metal Fest in
Spain, Up The Hammers in Greece, and Manowar's Magic Circle Festival in
Germany, and before starting pre-production of the forthcoming, third full
lenght studio album, Polish female fronted Heavy Metal squad Crystal Viper,
entered the Polish MP Studio to record the "Stronghold: Under Siege" song,
for the most awaited board game of the year: Stronghold. Song has been
recorded with Mariusz Pietka behind the recording/mixing console, and with
Bart Gabriel as the producer. The "Stronghold" single will be released on
October 8th as the digital download and CD single, which will be added to
the European edition of the Stronghold game. The band is also working on the
official video clip for the song, which will feature XIII and XV century
knight brotherhoods.

Stronghold is the classic rpg/board game, and will be released in 4
versions: Polish (Portal), German (Phalanx Games), French (Iello) and
English (distribution in UKL and Europe: Esdevium Games). The game is one of
the biggest, and most monumental production of the famous Portal company:
the box with the game will include almost 100 cards, more than 300 wooden
elements, more than 130 coins and 2 playing boards. Portal company has
already a cult status in the rpg circles, due to bestsellers such as
Neuroshima and Monastyr.

Los Angeles, CA - September 10, 2009 -- Anvil - whose rock-doc "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" has certainly been the most feel-good, comeback stories of recent times, will make its late-night performance debut on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien on Tuesday, October 6. "The Tonight Show" performance is in support of the release of the band's new album, This is Thirteen, which hits stores on Tuesday, September 15, and the "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" DVD set for an October 6 release date.

For this auspicious occasion, Anvil - guitarist/vocalist Steve "Lips" Kudlow, drummer Robb Reiner, and bassist Glenn Five - will perform the song that many consider their anthem, "Metal On Metal," which is included as a bonus track on the This is Thirteen limited edition vinyl. The band members will also get a little couch time with O'Brien.

"I am so nervous about doing the show," said Lips. "This is big, the biggest thing we have ever done on TV. I almost cried when my mom said she might not be able to stay up that late to watch it, so we're going to tape it for her. We can't wait to meet Conan, and I think Robb is pretty excited to meet Max Weinberg."

New York, NY: Killswitch Engage are pleased to announce that the title track from 2004�€™s Gold-selling The End of Heartache will be featured on Guitar Hero: Van Halen, which is scheduled for release on December 22.



In addition to hit selections from the David Lee Roth era, Killswitch Engage�€™s song will be included among 19 songs from other rock �€�n roll luminaries such as Foo Fighters, Billy Idol, Judas Priest, Queens of the Stone Age, Lenny Kravitz, Queen and The Clash!
